BALKIMO, first Albanian company invited to attend The MIPIM

From March 11th to March 14th 2008, BALKIMO attended the MIPIM, the world’s largest Real Estate meeting, in Cannes, France. This year, 28’000 delegates were present from 83 countries across the globe.

This is the first time an Albanian company was invited to attended the MIPIM. After being selected for REAL EXPO in Munich last October once again BALKIMO has been recognized as a leading force in the Albanian property market.

The BALKIMO managers attended the show to forge new partnership with leading global investors, developers and they where able to achieve more than 30 important meetings including a public presentation at the MIPIM VIP Lounge. Notably they introduced a large seaside project and announced the launch of the first Albanian Property Fund.

The Fund is a core plus fund that provides institutional investors with an exposure to the Albanian property market through the acquisition and development of properties in Healthcare, Hospitality, Leisure, Logistic and Retail.

BALKIMO will extend its cooperation with MIPIM and will announce in the next weeks new agreements and the closing of a large seaside resort project.
